Phillies Call Up Rookie Reliever Alex McFarlane

The Philadelphia Phillies have officially called up rookie reliever Alex McFarlane to the major league roster. The move is intended to provide immediate support to a bullpen that has struggled throughout the 2026 season. The team hopes that adding the rookie to the relief corps will help stabilize late-inning situations as they look to improve their performance in the second half of the year.
