Freddy Peralta Struggles in Rough Return to Milwaukee

Freddy Peralta (5-9) endured a difficult outing in Monday's 8-3 loss to his former team, the Brewers. Despite receiving an ovation from the crowd, Peralta struggled on the mound, allowing seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings. His ongoing performance issues remain a focal point for the Mets, who are expected to be active sellers ahead of the trade deadline as Peralta navigates a challenging first season in New York.
