Brandon Woodruff to Undergo Season-Ending Shoulder Surgery

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff, 33, will undergo season-ending surgery to repair his anterior capsule, the same procedure he had in 2023. Woodruff had been on the injured list since July 5 due to inflammation, and his condition failed to improve. While this is a significant blow to the 2026 rotation, Woodruff intends to return to pitching in the future.
