Christian Scott Dominates Phillies with 5.2 Scoreless Innings

Christian Scott (3-1) earned his third win of the season in Thursday's 4-1 victory over the Phillies, tossing 5.2 scoreless innings with three hits, zero walks, and seven strikeouts. Previously labeled untouchable in trade talks, Scott proved his value as the Mets returned from the All-Star break. Following the win, Scott credited motivation from Andy Green's recent comments, stating, "I thought it was a good kick in the a--," as he remains a key piece of the Mets' future rotation.
