Brad Keller Out for Season with Torn UCL; Surgery Could Impact 2027

Philadelphia Phillies reliever Brad Keller's 2026 season is over due to a torn right UCL, with surgery potentially sidelining him for most or all of 2027. This devastating blow leaves a significant void in the Phillies' bullpen, impacting their depth ahead of the trade deadline. Keller posted a 4.02 ERA in 32 appearances this season, and his absence increases the urgency for the team to acquire relief pitching to support closer Jhoan Duran.
