Cole Perfetti Inks Five-Year, $30 Million Extension with Jets

The Winnipeg Jets have signed center Cole Perfetti to a five-year, $30 million contract, carrying an average annual value of $6 million. The deal, finalized Wednesday, avoids salary arbitration and secures the 24-year-old as a core roster piece. Perfetti, the 10th overall pick in the 2020 NHL draft, recorded 12 goals and 20 assists with 20 penalty minutes across 68 games last season. This agreement solidifies his future in Winnipeg as the team builds around his development.
