Macklin Celebrini Named NHL 27 Cover Athlete and Eyes Hometown Discount

At 20 years old, Macklin Celebrini has been named the youngest cover athlete in EA Sports NHL series history, joining Owen Nolan as the only Sharks players to receive the honor. This marks the first time a Sharks player has graced the cover since NHL 2001. Beyond the accolade, the center addressed his contract status, stating he would "100%" consider taking a hometown discount on an extension this offseason to help the San Jose Sharks build a more competitive roster for the future.
