Paul Skenes Ineligible for All-Star Game Pitching

Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes is ineligible to pitch in the 2026 All-Star Game despite his selection. Beyond the roster status, Skenes has publicly opposed the MLB's proposed salary cap, warning of potential labor conflicts for 2027. Additionally, Skenes recently addressed an awkward moment at the All-Star Game involving a reporter's comment regarding his potential future with the New York Yankees, and appeared on the red carpet with Olivia Dunne.
