Gleyber Torres Begins Rehab Assignment in Florida

Torres (oblique) kicked off his rehab assignment Monday in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. In his first appearance, he played five innings at second base and went 1-for-3 at the plate, recording a double and an RBI. This marks a positive step in his recovery process as he works toward returning to the Tigers' active roster.
