Spencer Miles Provides Relief in High-Scoring Loss

Spencer Miles was the only pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays to avoid allowing a run during Saturday's 8-7 loss to the San Diego Padres. In a game characterized by poor pitching from both sides, which saw a combined seventeen walks issued, Miles provided a rare clean appearance for the Blue Jays' bullpen.
