Brandon Eisert Included in Trade to Pittsburgh Pirates

Brandon Eisert was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates by the Chicago White Sox in a rare deal involving draft picks. The trade, which also included Jacob Gonzalez, saw the White Sox acquire the 34th overall pick in the upcoming draft. While MLB trades involving draft selections are uncommon compared to other major sports leagues, this move allows the White Sox to prioritize their future prospect pool by targeting specific draft talent like Landon Thome.
