Zebby Matthews Stymied by Unusual Rule Call in Loss

Zebby Matthews faced a difficult outing in the Twins' 4-3 loss to the Angels on Friday. A challenging inning for the pitcher was compounded by a strange rule or officiating call that went against him. The Twins were unable to recover from the deficit, failing to produce key hits later in the game to overcome the impact of the unusual sequence.
