Joel Nystrom Excluded From Hurricanes Stanley Cup Engraving

In a surprising move by the Carolina Hurricanes organization, Joel Nystrom was notably omitted from the team's Stanley Cup engraving. While the franchise chose to include various family members of the organization on the historic trophy, Nystrom did not receive the same recognition. This decision has drawn attention due to the unusual nature of the personnel choices made for the engraving, leaving Nystrom off the list despite the team's championship victory.
