Shota Imanaga Suffers Tough-Luck Loss Against Cincinnati Reds

Shota Imanaga (5-8) took the loss in Friday's matchup against the Reds, despite a solid outing. The Cubs lefty allowed just one run on seven hits and one walk while striking out five batters over five innings of work. Although analysts had highlighted the game as a significant challenge against a powerful Cincinnati offense, Imanaga kept the game competitive before ultimately falling in the 4-0 shutout.
