Dillon Dingler Day-to-Day Following Thumb Injury

Detroit Tigers All-Star Dillon Dingler is considered day-to-day after exiting Thursday's game with a right hand/thumb injury. While he was held out of the lineup for the remainder of Thursday's contest against the Athletics, the team confirmed he will avoid the injured list. Dingler may require a few days of rest prior to All-Star week to recover. The Tigers are expected to provide further updates on his status following continued medical evaluation.
