Nick Kurtz Returns to Action After Brief Illness

All-Star Nick Kurtz returned to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Detroit Tigers after exiting his previous appearance due to illness. Kurtz served as the designated hitter and batted second for the Athletics. The team had been monitoring his condition closely following his mid-game departure on Thursday, but he was cleared to return to action quickly.
