Willson Contreras Exits Game After Fouling Ball Off Foot

After being named an All-Star Game replacement, Willson Contreras' status is now in question. He was forced to exit Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox after fouling a ball off his left foot. The Red Sox are currently evaluating the severity of the injury, which was initially described as an apparent foot/ankle issue. Further updates are expected as the team assesses his availability following this unfortunate turn of events.
