Lars Nootbaar Identified as Potential Trade Target for Astros

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar has been identified as an under-the-radar trade target for the Houston Astros. Nootbaar, 28, is recognized as a solid OBP corner outfielder. His 2026 season did not begin until June 5 due to offseason surgery on both heels, which has impacted his mobility over the past couple of seasons.
