Dominic Canzone Set for Full-Time Role in Mariners Lineup

Dominic Canzone is moving into a full-time role for the Seattle Mariners. Mariners president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto confirmed Tuesday that Canzone will occupy a spot in the middle of the lineup moving forward. This change marks the end of his previous platoon status, as he will now start regardless of the opposing starting pitcher's handedness. The team is clearly signaling increased confidence in his offensive production.
