Astros Option Struggling Pitcher Mike Burrows to Triple-A

The Houston Astros have officially optioned right-hander Mike Burrows to Triple-A Sugar Land following a difficult outing against the Washington Nationals where he surrendered five runs in the third inning. Burrows had been under significant pressure to improve his production while the team manages a depleted bullpen. The move was finalized on Tuesday as the team looks to address recent performance struggles.
