Soto Line Drive Forces Martin Perez Out of Game

During Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Braves, Juan Soto hit a 92-mph line drive that struck opposing pitcher Martin Perez in the left forearm. The impact was significant enough that it forced Perez to be removed from the game and has him likely headed to the injured list. Soto's contact served as the catalyst for the injury that disrupted the Braves' pitching rotation during the fifth inning.
