Michael Wacha Named All-Star Despite Loss to Phillies

Michael Wacha allowed four runs on three homers in six innings during the Royals' 6-1 loss to the Phillies. Despite the defeat, Wacha struck out seven batters in what was his first start since being named a 2026 American League All-Star. While it was among his worst starts of the season, it was not considered a terrible outing overall.
