Deandre Ayton Traded to Washington in Competitive Push

Deandre Ayton has been traded to the Washington Wizards, signaling the team's intent to become serious contenders. General manager Will Dawkins acquired Ayton as part of a strategy to buy low on talented assets deemed negative by their former teams, similar to recent moves for Trae Young and Anthony Davis. Ayton is expected to play a key role in Washington's revamped rotation.
