Aroldis Chapman Sets All-Time Relief Strikeout Record

Aroldis Chapman has officially made history, surpassing Hoyt Wilhelm to become the all-time strikeout leader among relief pitchers with 1,364 career strikeouts. The 17-year veteran continues to anchor the Red Sox bullpen, recently securing his 17th save of the season in a Friday outing against the Angels. During that appearance, he tossed a scoreless ninth inning, allowing two hits and recording one strikeout, further cementing his legacy as one of baseball's most dominant relief arms.
