Deandre Ayton Traded to Wizards in Lakers Roster Shakeup

The Los Angeles Lakers have traded center Deandre Ayton to the Washington Wizards in exchange for guard Jaden Hardy and two future second-round picks. Ayton, who started 72 games for the Lakers last season, became expendable following the team's acquisition of Walker Kessler. The move is part of a broader roster transformation orchestrated by the Lakers, while the Wizards look to bolster their interior presence with Ayton's veteran experience.
