Mitchell Robinson Signs 3-Year, $47.4M Deal with Celtics

Center Mitchell Robinson has signed a three-year, $47.4 million contract with the Boston Celtics, a deal that includes a player option for the third season. Departing the New York Knicks due to second-apron salary cap restrictions, Robinson brings elite rim protection to Boston. Over his eight-season career, he has averaged 7.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game. Analysts view his addition as a key move to bolster the Celtics' interior defense for the upcoming campaign.
