Cooper Ingle Commits Costly Mental Error in Tuesday Loss

Cleveland Guardians rookie left fielder Cooper Ingle committed a significant mental error during Tuesday night's game against the Rangers. In the seventh inning, Ingle lost track of the number of outs and casually tossed the live ball into the stands as a souvenir. The blunder allowed the Rangers to score the go-ahead run, proving costly in the outcome of the contest. Ingle, who was making his second MLB start, expressed deep regret for the mistake.
