Lakers Pivot to Building Around Luka Dončić

Following the departure of LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers are shifting their focus toward building a competitive roster around Luka Dončić. The organization currently has $52 million in cap space available to facilitate these moves. The front office has identified the acquisition of an 'A-list center' as their top priority, though they acknowledge that landing a high-caliber player to complement Dončić will be a complex challenge during this offseason.
