Chris Sale Strikes Out 10 in Tough Loss to Giants

Chris Sale (8-6) delivered a strong pitching performance in Sunday's 3-2 loss to San Francisco, but was saddled with the defeat. Sale struck out 10 batters over six innings of work, allowing two runs (one earned) on eight hits and one walk. Despite his high strikeout total and efficient work, the Braves' offense could not provide enough support to secure the win for the veteran left-hander.
