Soderstrom Sidelined Sunday Following Saturday Hip Injury

Tyler Soderstrom is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels to rest his left hip. He was removed from Saturday's 5-2 loss in the bottom of the third inning due to tightness in the area. Athletics manager Mark Kotsay confirmed the injury following the game, in which Soderstrom recorded one strikeout in his lone at-bat. His status will continue to be monitored as the team evaluates the severity of the hip issue.
