Red Wings Trade Goaltender Sebastian Cossa to Utah

The Detroit Red Wings have traded top goaltending prospect Sebastian Cossa to the Utah Mammoth. Finalized during the NHL draft, the deal sees Detroit receive the 23rd overall pick in exchange for the young netminder. Cossa, previously a cornerstone of the Red Wings' prospect pipeline, joins the Utah organization as they look to bolster their goaltending depth. The move signals that Cossa will not be part of the Red Wings' immediate future.
