Rangers Acquire Pavel Dorofeyev in Blockbuster Trade

The New York Rangers have acquired 25-year-old forward Pavel Dorofeyev from the Vegas Golden Knights. The trade cost New York the No. 26 and No. 92 overall picks in the 2026 NHL Draft, along with a conditional 2028 first-round pick. Dorofeyev, Vegas' leading goal scorer last season, is a restricted free agent and will require a new contract. The move was a centerpiece of draft-night activity, with Vegas utilizing the acquired picks to select new prospects.
