Jake Cronenworth Rehab Assignment Delayed Following Concussion

Jake Cronenworth's return from a concussion has hit a minor snag. Although initially expected to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso on Thursday, Cronenworth was not cleared in time to participate, as reported by Jeff Sanders. The Padres continue to monitor his progress closely as he works through the return-to-play protocol, with the rehab stint now delayed as he awaits final medical clearance to resume game action.
