Nets Select Mikel Brown Jr. to Ignite Franchise

The Brooklyn Nets have selected Louisville guard Mikel Brown Jr. in the 2026 NBA Draft, hoping he can serve as a breakout player to revitalize a franchise that won only 26 games last season. The Nets are looking to flip their fortunes after a disappointing year, also adding forwards Joshua Jefferson and Tyler Bilodeau to their roster to improve their competitive standing in the Atlantic Division.
