Homers but Exits Game with Injury on Wednesday

John Peck experienced a bittersweet Wednesday for the West Michigan Whitecaps, hitting a home run before being forced to leave the game with an injury. The Tigers' prospect showed off his offensive upside with the long ball, but his early departure cast a shadow over the performance. The severity of the injury has not yet been disclosed by the Detroit organization. Team trainers are expected to evaluate Peck to determine the extent of the issue and if he will require time on the sidelines.
