Kyle Schwarber Returns to Action as Pinch Hitter Despite Back Injury

Kyle Schwarber was sidelined from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals due to an ongoing back injury. While the Phillies have not provided a specific return timeline and continue to manage his discomfort on a day-to-day basis, Schwarber was able to contribute off the bench. He appeared as a pinch hitter during the 5-4 win over Washington, drawing a walk in his lone plate appearance.
