Kings Acquire Rights to Alex Karaban

The Sacramento Kings acquired the rights to forward Alex Karaban in a draft-night trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland originally selected Karaban with the No. 29 overall pick before sending him to Sacramento. The deal involved a pick swap, with the Kings moving up from the No. 34 spot to secure the prospect as part of their roster adjustments. Karaban enters the league following a collegiate career that made him a late-first-round target for the Kings.
