Shane Bieber Struggles in Return to Rotation

Bieber had a difficult outing in his return to the rotation during Tuesday's 9-7 extra-innings loss to the Astros. He did not factor into the decision, lasting only 3.2 innings while surrendering four runs on nine hits. The damage included three home runs allowed, though he did manage to strike out two batters without issuing a walk. He will look to bounce back in his next scheduled appearance.
