Secures Back-to-Back Saves to Anchor Bullpen During Stellar June

David Bednar continued his dominant June by securing his 15th and 16th saves of the season in consecutive games against the Tigers. On Tuesday, he tossed 1.1 perfect innings, followed by a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday where he allowed just one hit and struck out one. Bednar has not issued any walks across these recent appearances, solidifying his role as a reliable late-inning anchor for the Yankees. His recent performance has seen him rise significantly in closer rankings.
