Kasper Halttunen Acquired by Ottawa Senators from Sharks

The Ottawa Senators have acquired prospect Kasper Halttunen from the San Jose Sharks as part of a multi-player package. The deal, which also included William Eklund and the rights to Brandon Svoboda, was completed in exchange for the No. 9 overall selection in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. Halttunen moves to the Senators organization as Ottawa looks to significantly bolster its prospect depth through this trade.
