Brady Tkachuk Traded to Florida Panthers in Blockbuster Deal

In a major trade, the Ottawa Senators sent captain Brady Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers. Tkachuk will wear No. 8 for his new club and be introduced Tuesday. The move follows his refusal to waive his no-trade clause for the St. Louis Blues. The trade, which also involved Mackie Samoskevich, has sparked league-wide discussions regarding team trade lists and the impact on Stanley Cup aspirations. Tkachuk's departure marks the end of his tenure as the Senators' captain.
