Matthew Boyd Cleared to Rejoin Cubs Rotation

Cubs manager Craig Counsell announced Monday that Matthew Boyd will rejoin the major league rotation for his next start. Boyd has been working through shoulder and knee issues and is now cleared to return to the big-league mound. The team is currently evaluating the rotation structure to determine who will move to the bullpen or Triple-A Iowa to accommodate Boyd's return to the active roster.
