Rotation Spot in Jeopardy After Struggles Against Phillies

David Peterson’s position in the New York Mets' starting rotation is in flux following a poor performance in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. Peterson struggled early, failing to give his team a competitive chance in the series-deciding game. Manager Carlos Mendoza acknowledged post-game that he will discuss Peterson's future role, as the left-hander became the latest Mets starter to implode. The loss prevented the Mets from winning the high-stakes series on the road.
