Wandy Peralta to Serve as Opener Sunday

Wandy Peralta is slated to serve as the opener for the Padres in Sunday's game against the Rangers. He will precede Lucas Giolito, who is expected to take over on the mound following Peralta's stint. This pitching strategy is intended to navigate the Rangers' lineup effectively in the series finale.
