Lucas Giolito Expected to Follow Opener Sunday

Lucas Giolito will not be the starting pitcher for Sunday's matchup against the Rangers. Instead, the Padres plan to utilize an opener, with Giolito expected to work in relief behind Wandy Peralta. This role adjustment provides the team with tactical flexibility for the series finale.
