Freddy Peralta Struggles in Career-High 10-Run Outing

Freddy Peralta (5-6) suffered a difficult loss against the Phillies, allowing a career-high 10 earned runs over 2.2 innings. He struck out two batters while surrendering 10 hits and one walk. Despite the inconsistency in his first season with the Mets, which has left him with a 4.83 ERA through 16 starts, Peralta maintains he is not worried about his performance trajectory.
