Liam Hicks Scratched from Marlins Lineup with Back Tightness

Miami Marlins slugger Liam Hicks was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup against the San Francisco Giants due to lower-back tightness. According to Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com, the team is currently monitoring his status to determine if further action or a stint on the injury list is required. The decision to pull him from the game was made shortly before first pitch as the organization evaluates the severity of the discomfort.
