Pete Fairbanks Records Back-to-Back Saves Against Giants

Miami Marlins closer Pete Fairbanks has been dominant, securing his 10th and 11th saves of the season in consecutive appearances against the San Francisco Giants. On Friday, he retired the side in order to preserve a 4-3 win. He followed that performance on Saturday by striking out two batters in a perfect ninth inning to close out a 6-3 victory. Fairbanks has been instrumental in protecting narrow leads for the Marlins.
