Mike Trout Placed on 10-Day IL With Right Hamstring Injury

The Angels have placed Mike Trout on the 10-day injured list due to a right hamstring injury sustained during the eighth inning of Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the Diamondbacks. While no specific return timeline is set, the move confirms he will miss at least 10 days, potentially jeopardizing his All-Star appearance. Trout, 34, is having a resurgent season, batting .234 with 17 home runs and 36 RBIs. He begins his recovery and treatment process with hopes for a short stint on the IL.
