Verlander Returns from IL to Start Sunday vs. White Sox

Justin Verlander is set to return from the injured list to start Sunday's game against the White Sox at Comerica Park, his first appearance at the venue since 2017. The 43-year-old veteran, who was sidelined in April with left hip inflammation, provides a significant boost to the Tigers' rotation. His activation forces Keider Montero to move to the bullpen as the team looks to bolster its pitching depth.
